Calls that go to voicemail, ring and hang up, or are immediately transferred to a human before any AI conversation are not counted. Live transfers to a human where the AI stays on the line to brief the rep count as answered.

What happens if I go over my call limit?

If you exceed it, AnswerPilot continues handling calls — you are charged an overage rate per call that month, billed at the start of the next billing cycle. We monitor your call volume and send alerts at 80% and 100% of your limit so you can plan ahead or upgrade your plan before overages accrue.

If you have a legacy PBX or a niche carrier, contact us — we can usually find a compatible path. All plans include a dedicated local business number if you prefer not to port your existing number.

Healthcare businesses (dental, legal, home health, and more) can sign a Business Associate Agreement (BAA) before going live.
